A. Reynolds Gordon | Renn Gordon

Attorney Gordon is "AV" rated meaning his peers rank him at the highest level of profession excellence.

A. Reynolds Gordon ("Renn" to his family, friends and clients) has practiced law for over 40 years. While his skills are accomplishments and are varied, he is best known as an aggressive and skilled litigator. Regardless of the type of case (Renn has particular interest in complex financial cases), Renn is one of those rare attorneys who not only is "at home" in the courtroom, he thrives on the "courtroom drama."

Renn is a graduate of Princeton University and Yale Law School, where he was named to the prestigious Order of Coif (Yale's legal honor society, admission to which is limited to "exceptionally talented" legal scholars).

Renn spent the early years of his career at a large, prominent Bridgeport firm where he honed his skills as civil litigator. Then he struck out on his own describing himself as a "maverick" who wanted to focus his practice on "representing the underdog in various sorts of civil litigation."

Over the years, Renn has become one of Connecticut's most experienced and preeminent trial lawyers. Perhaps Renn's most notable quality as a trial attorney is that, no matter what the circumstance — even in the midst of the most aggressive, hard fought trials — Renn remains calm, kind and compassionate. The consummate gentleman.

Renn's interests and accomplishments extend well beyond the law. He oversees a number of charitable foundations, and he is actively involved in Easton politics serving on the Democratic Town Committee and as chairman of the pension committee.

When time allows, on warm sunny days, Renn is most often found on the golf course describing golf as his "third love, next to Janet (his wife), and the law.
